A new year and a few pounds to lose 🙁 Just finally getting back into routine, have lost a few pounds, and starting to feel good about myself again. Hopefully I am now back on track and will be back to my previous self by summer.

The yogurt turned out OK. I didn’t flavor it right off the bat so for plain yogurt it didn’t taste all that bad. Texture and thickness were OK. But, I decided to put it in a blender with some thawed raspberries to add some flavor. Now I have more of a yogurt drink. It tastes quite good but it got rather thin. Will have to play with and figure out the right combinations. Overall, for my first try at it I would say it went pretty well. At least it wasn’t a throw away batch!

Well, I tried making home made yogurt for the first time. Haven’t tasted it yet as it cultured overnight and now has to sit in the fridge for 6 hours. Once I have tasted it I will determine whether or not to post the recipe I used. Keep your fingers crossed!

I have chosen health and nutrition as the main topic as I find that very interesting. I try to practice clean and/or plant strong eating at least 85% of the time. I even throw some ‘raw’ recipes in to the mix.
